Our MIssion
We exist to multiply disciples of Jesus who are reaching the campus, the city and the world.
What would it look like if a multigenerational family of God became a bridge between the campus of Texas State and the City of San Marcos?
We believe in the gospel - the good news that Jesus Christ has invaded the darkness of this world with an eternal hope. His life, death, and resurrection have provided a way for us to be saved from our sins and united with God forever. We want our city to know this hope. The following is a summary of our foundational beliefs, or you can click HERE for a full statement of faith.
With Jesus as our chief shepherd (1 Peter 5:1-4), the pastors of The Well seek to care for the members of the body through regular prayer, ministry, and equipping.
Led by the Lead Pastor, the staff at The Well carries out both the organizational and ministerial needs of the church on a day to day basis.
Made up of experienced and faithful men of God, this team oversees the overall health and progress of the church until a day comes where The Well can have a full team of local elders providing healthy local leadership.
Deacons are servant leaders (male and female) within the church that help the Elder's prioritize the teaching of God's Word, meet practical needs within the family of God and help protect the unity of the church.
